McIntosh County TSPLOST Program Management
Consulting, Civil Design, & Inspections
Roberts Civil Engineering served as the program manager, engineer, and owner’s representative for McIntosh County’s Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST) Program. Our involvement began well before the referendum, assisting County leadership with the strategic planning, project identification, cost estimating, prioritization, and development of a comprehensive capital improvement program that was ultimately presented to voters for approval. The program included approximately $6 million in transportation improvements spanning roadway resurfacing, widening, intersection
improvements, drainage enhancements, paving projects, and pedestrian infrastructure throughout the county.
Following voter approval, RCE continued as the County’s trusted partner throughout the
entire five-year implementation period. Our team provided engineering design, project management, bidding and procurement services, construction administration, contractor
coordination, and construction oversight for the program’s portfolio of transportation
projects. Working closely with County officials, municipal leaders, GDOT, contractors, and stakeholders, we successfully coordinated the delivery of dozens of roadway and infrastructure improvements while maintaining schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance.
From the initial development of the voter-approved project list through final construction
and closeout, Roberts Civil Engineering delivered a turnkey approach that enabled McIntosh County to maximize the value of TSPLOST revenues while improving safety, mobility, and long-term infrastructure resiliency across the county. The program serves as a strong example of our ability to guide local governments through the complete lifecycle of transportation funding initiatives—from strategic planning and public investment decisions to successful project delivery.
