WORKING
AT RCE

A closer look at how we work, grow, and support our team.

At RCE, work is structured, expectations are clear, and every role contributes to project delivery. Your work directly supports how projects move forward and how commitments are met.

Teams collaborate closely, with regular communication and shared accountability. Staying engaged, following through, and supporting team progress are key to how work gets done at RCE.

As experience grows, expectations expand —progressing from supporting tasks to owning work, coordinating with others, and contributing more directly to project outcomes.

The Trailblazer Program is RCE’s structured onboarding approach, designed to ensure new team members are supported, connected, and set up for success from the start. Eachnew hire is paired with a dedicated team member who serves as a guide, providing consistent support and serving as a reliable point of contact throughout the onboarding experience.

Through regular check-ins and ongoing engagement, the program helps new employees navigate day-to-day work, understand expectations, and build connections across the organization.

This approach creates a more informed and confident transition into active work and team collaboration.

Growth at RCE is defined through a structured set of competencies that outline what is expected at each stage—across technical work, communication, and overall contribution.

These expectations provide clear visibility into how roles evolve and what it takes to progress. As experience builds, individuals take on more complex work, greater ownership, and a more active role in contributing to outcomes. Advancement reflects demonstrated performance, consistency, and readiness for the next level of responsibility.

Whether you’re exploring engineering for the first time or preparing to enter the profession, we offer structured programs designed to meet you where you are—and help you move forward with confidence.

  • Future Engineer Capstone Experience – A structured, short-term experience aligned with academic requirements, where participants observe active projects, engage with team members, and complete a guided deliverable to connect what they’ve learned to real-world application.
  • Internships at RCE – An immersive, project-based experience where students contribute to ongoing work, receive direct mentorship, and gain exposure to how projects are developed, coordinated, and delivered across teams.
  • Engineering Residency Program – A defined early-career program designed to bridge the gap between education and practice through ongoing project involvement, structured mentorship, and progressively increasing responsibility over time.

These programs are designed to support development at different stages—providing structured, real-world experience aligned to where you are.

Our approach to compensation is grounded in fairness, consistency, and performance. As responsibilities grow, contributions increase, and impact expands, compensation evolves accordingly.

We maintain a clear and consistent framework that aligns growth with opportunity—so employees understand how their development translates into progression over time.
